Patience and Action Bring God-Sized Dreams to Life

inspiration

ARE YOU AFRAID, MAMA, YOU WON’T MAKE IT?

I looked into the eyes of our Little Miss, her question lingering in the air as she waited for my response.  Her question was about whether I could open an equine therapy ranch for kids in need.

This  dream was placed on my heart when I was 19 years old. It’s been there ever since.

And maybe, just maybe, you need to hear my response...

Maybe you have a dream on your heart, too. Maybe you’re wondering if you’ll ever make it come true.

I am not afraid.

God placed this dream on my heart, which means He already placed the talents within me, too.  He has cleared the path.

Aligned the people I need.

Created solutions to the obstacles I will face.

Equipped me with everything I need to make this dream—His dream—a reality.

All I need to do is be patient.  Yet being patient doesn’t mean being still.  It means taking action while having faith that the dream will unfold in His time.

No, I am not afraid.

I am patiently waiting while taking action.  I am becoming the person I need to be to serve our first family at our equine therapy ranch.

Whatever dream God placed on your heart... Be patient, love.  Be patient while taking consistent action towards becoming the person you need to be.

I believe in you.

Grit + Gumption.

Note

I’ve always loved that quote: “A jack of all trades…” because it gives permission to be obsessed with more than one thing... without apologizing for it.

This corner of the internet is built on dark romance, honest writing, and becoming the woman I was always meant to be. Sprinkle in some morally gray chaos and you're home.
